Who we are

This policy is issued on behalf of Boostin’ Bowls and each of its shops and businesses: Boostin’ Bowls Manayunk, 100 Levering Street, Philadelphia, PA 19127 (Philadelphia County), Boostin’ Bowls Lafayette Hill, 428 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444 (Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County), and any affiliated, franchised or future Boostin’ Bowls locations and businesses (together, “Boostin’ Bowls”, “we”, “us”). It covers boostinbowls.com, online ordering, customer accounts, offers and our marketing messages.

What we collect

Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, home shop and account preferences.
Orders and purchases: items, times, shop, pickup details, amounts, tips, discounts and coupons, and order notes. Card payments are processed by Square; we do not receive or store your full card number.
Marketing preferences and consent records: which shops’ deals you asked for, and when and how you agreed.
Device, usage and tracking information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, items added to your cart, and similar activity on our website, collected by cookies, pixels, tags, analytics and session-recording tools (see “Cookies and tracking”).
Location: if you choose “Use my location”, your device’s location is used in your browser to sort shops by distance. We do not receive or store it.
Information from others: such as Square (payments, customer, rewards and marketing records) and our service providers.

How we use it

To take, prepare and support your orders, run your account, and send receipts, order updates and sign-in codes.
To send offers, news and promotions by email, and by text message where you have opted in.
To run rewards, coupons and welcome offers, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
To understand and improve our shops, menu, website and marketing, including analytics and advertising.
For any other purpose described when you provide the information, or with your consent.

How we share it

Within Boostin’ Bowls: among our shops, affiliates, franchisees and future locations.
Service providers: companies that help us run the business, such as Square (payments, customers, rewards and marketing), email and website providers, analytics providers, and MackTechs (who builds and runs this site).
Marketing and advertising partners: we may share information with partners, including for their own marketing and advertising.
Sale of information: we may sell or otherwise share personal information with third parties.
Business transfers: if Boostin’ Bowls or any shop is sold, merged, franchised or reorganized, or its assets are transferred, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our customers, staff or business.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies, pixels, tags, scripts and similar technologies, including from third parties such as analytics and advertising providers, to operate the site, remember your cart and preferences, measure use, and market to you. These tools may record how you interact with our pages (for example pages viewed, clicks, cart activity and information you type into forms, but not your card number) and send it to us and to those third parties. By using our website you consent to this collection and use, including by those third parties. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site, such as your cart, may not work without them. Our website does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Text messages

Each shop sends marketing texts through Square only to people who opted in (for example by texting JOIN to the shop’s number or agreeing at checkout). Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP (or QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE) to stop marketing texts from that shop. We send marketing texts only during the days and hours permitted by law.

Emails

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests as required by law. We may still send order, account and other transactional emails.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or not to sell or share it or use it for targeted advertising, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. You can also update your details, change your email preferences or delete your account from the Account page. We keep order records the shops need for their accounting, tax and legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Pennsylvania law.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it for the purposes above and for our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Children

Our website and offers are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be posted here and, where required by law, we will notify you or ask for your consent.

Governing law

This policy and any dispute about it are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and applicable federal law.
